DIY Cropped and shredded muscle tee

Hiii,

Today I want to show you guys how you can make your own shredded crop top out of a (oversized) men's shirt. It's a really fun project and I really like the result! Normally I'm not quite that crafty but this came out pretty well. Enjoy!

What you will need
- Any shirt you want to use, preferably a little bit oversized.
- scissors
- (Optional) a seam ripper to do the shredding, but you can also just use your fingers like I did

Step one
Get your t-shirt and lay it down on any flat surface.

Step two
Cut off the sleeves as much as you like (you can adjust this later) and cut off the bottom if you want it cropped.

Step three

Cut small holes where you want your shredding to be and start pulling out the little fibers and threading. (please excuse my lack of motivation to do my nails lol)

Step four

Continue pulling out the threading and do this until your satisfied with the finished product (this can take a while so make sure you've got time).

Step five

Once you shredded al the holes your done! You can start wearing your new top. :)

Hi.

So it's been a long time since I updated this blog, mainly because at the time I re-created it I wanted to focus on style and fashion, but I found out that my interests go way beyond just those things. Sooo.. I re-recreated this blog again (haha) this time not in the concept of fashion, but just my life and thoughts and daily struggles and who knows what. I'm going to keep this update short since I don't really feel like writing a lecture about how my life has been, so instead of that I created some kind of moodboard. I dress myself for the mods

Today my boyfriend and I had some exciting planned. Shopping together. For the first time in nine months. I won´t lie, it felt a bit weird at first. I mean, I´ve never actually shopped with a boy before and I´m used to having my friends at my side to laugh and eat and fit clothes with but this was verrrry different. He didn´t want to buy anything (but food) so we just went to ''my'' stores, also he didn't really have an opinion on anything I wanted to buy so BOYS ARE USELESS SHOPPING BUDDIES. It's okay though, 'cause tonight we have got a perfect night planned, which includes pizza, monster, all the X-men movies and Settlers of Catan. A-mazing.

Anyway, I bought quite a lot awesome stuff today. Because it was Marco (my boyfriend) his birthday recently and I didn't have the chance to buy him a present then, I bought him a really really gorgeous sweater today (which he is wearing right now, and he's out, so I can't take a picture :( gaaah it's so gorgeous). He really liked it (I guess, at least he said so) and I'm so happy because he looks like a BABE in it. For myself, I bought a crop top, a beanie, a skirt and a lipstick. Yes. A lipstick... from MAC! My first ever MAC lipstick! The shade I bought is called ''Candy Yum Yum'', and it's a REALLY bright pink/purple-ish color. It's so gorgeous and I'm really really happy with it.

I'm spending the rest of my evening on the couch next to Marco's dog, with Marco's laptop on my lap, watching TV and waiting for my boyfriend-in-gorgeous-sweater to come back... exciting, I know. I just took a few pictures (that I took with my phone and are very unprofessional I'M SORRY) so please let me know what you think! Good evening ♡

Buttons up

I've been DYING to find a gorgeous, oversized, denim jacket lately. I know they're everywhere but I just can't seem to get my eyes on one I really really love. The idea I've got in mind is this ligt blue (maybe acid), oversized jacket wich I will cover in vintage buttons and paint and studs and stickers and gems and glitter and whatever I can get my hands on. Sounds awesome, yeah? If you've seen any jacket like this, please let me know. IT'S A MATTER OF LIFE AND DEATH. I got the idea by browsing some blogs and seeing these awesome girls with their awesome jackets and it just made me want to start a girl gang. We'll wear awesome matching jackets, watch movies and eat pizza while we talk about boys... anyone? (Also, we'll riot the streets and dominate the world).

Anyway, I've looked up some pictures for some inspiration and I'm really annoyed I can't immediately start DIY-ing. Oh, by the way, sneak peek: I'll go to the store tomorrow to buy stuff for my DIY top I'm gonna make. Exiting huh? I'll post about it later. On to the eyecandy now.

Can you show me to the party?

First real post, wooooo! What other could this post be about than some good music. I made a short playlist with some songs I've been playing recently. If you like new, clubbing kind of dance music, I recommend you skip this one. The songs vary from slow, 60's sounds to English country music so there's loads to like! Anyway, I really loved these songs lately so I hope you will too. If you do, let me know. Also if you like the concept of posting a playlist of the songs I've been listening to, let me know!

Look who's here, how you doin'?

Hiya, yeah, I'm still alive. Just wanted to share a quick ~big~ thing with my 0 readers (yay me for keeping my blog exactly 2 weeks). I really didn't like the way my so called ''blog'' turned out. It turned out to be me posting pictures nobody, not even myself, cared about. With approximately two sentences that described the post. Well, duh, boring. I know. The reason I'm kinda 'reinventing' this blog thingy is because I really want to  improve my English and writing skills. Compared to other blogs I read, well, my English SUCKS. Their writing is so magical and catchy, where mine is basic and simple. Thank you parents for living in a non-English-speaking country. So yeah I'm gonna try to blog again, but about very different things than before, such as fashion (duh), music, my life, my likes, my whatever. Maybe even some feminism (I don't know, I've really gotten into feminism lately). I suppose this is my ''first'' post now since I've deleted the others, so let's start over, shall we? 

I'm Anna-Lotte. Don't even try to pronounce it if you're not Dutch. I'm a girl next door who happens to have a kinda odd fashion taste which literally changes every month. I've liked soooooo many different styles, but they were always kinda vintage-ish. On this blog I will express everything I like, do and think. Sneak peek; My first post will be a play list of songs I'm playing at the moment. Anyway, I'm 15 years old and live in Holland. I suck at writing and I suck at English but hey, I'M TRYING HERE! My favorite website ever is rookiemag.com, because admit it, who doesn't love pictures with a vintage fibe, good music and some amazing writing? I think Tavi is absolutely amazeballs (do they actually say that in America? I learned it from So Undercover so don't blame me) and admire everything she has accomplished. I'm done talking about myself now. Sorry if you liked my old blog better, but.. no.
